This training is for any workplace that has evacuation chairs. Evacuation chairs are designed to support any person who lacks or has no mobility and therefore would struggle to evacuate safely in a fire situation.
This training includes chair theory and a practical element in which employees will practice using the chair on each other. The training also covers do's and don'ts, assessing the risks, how to secure a person in the chair and transfer them from a bed, sofa, arm chair or from the floor or down a stairwell.
Training sessions can last between 1 and 4 hours depending on the size of the group and the needs of your organisation. Please note, you will need to purchase a chair for your workplace prior to this training.
