This course used be called the appointed persons first aid at work, and is for delegates that want to learn the main areas of first aid or refresh their basic knowledge and skills.
This is a HSE recognised course and requires 6 hours of tuition. This course is ideal for small companies or individuals who would like to learn the basics of first aid.. This course touches on all areas of first aid and delegates receive a certificate that is valid for 3 years.
The course is suitable for anyone who may need to provide first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill, both at work and in their daily lives. This course covers the primary survey, CPR, the recovery position, choking and dressing of wounds.
